WHAT CAN THE FABRIC RESIST?

Our shorts are resistant to all water-based substances including coffee, soda, and fruit juice. This also means it's resistant to any forms of staining. Not only is it resistant to water-based intruders, the Hydrophobic Nanotechnology prevents odor and is holds anti-bacterial properties. This is perfect for the gym-goer who wants to be able to spend less time in the laundry room getting out that post-workout stench.

    IS IT A TOPICAL COATING?

    Definitely not. The fabric we use has a 'Hydrophobic Nanostructure' inside the actual fabric itself, making it breathable and completely safe for use. On the surface to the naked eye, you can't tell the difference between this fabric and any other. Under a microscope, however, there are billions of nano-scale whisker-like barriers preventing all liquids from entering the swimwear. We are currently the only swimwear company in the market using this hydrophobic nanotechnology fabric. This fabric has proven to drastically reduce dry-times by up to 95% in contrast to regular 100% polyester swim shorts.

      IS IT SAFE TO USE HYDROPHOBIC NANOTECHNOLOGY ON CLOTHING?

      Yes, we use a fabric that is PFOA, DEHP and DINP free, making it soft to the touch and completely safe for use. Please do not use topical coating products and expect the same results. We do not use topical coatings to achieve our results and it is unsafe to do so.

      HOW LONG DOES THE HYDROPHOBIC NANOTECHNOLOGY LAST?

      The Hydrophobic technology will last the entire life of the shorts. We have tested the garment with chlorine and salt water and they have no effect on the Hydrophobic Nanotechnology Fabric. Washing your shorts will also not deteriorate the longevity of the hydrophobic nanostructure. These shorts were designed for being submerged underwater for long periods of time and have shown no loss of hydrophobic capabilities.

      WHAT HAPPENS TO THE INSIDE OF THE FABRIC?

      Both sides of the garment are Hydrophobic and will perform equally.

        WHAT IS THE INSEAM OF THE SHORTS?

        The shorts inseam are 7.5 inches in length and are designed to sit just above the knee on the average male. Not European short shorts or American Dad boardshorts length. We picked the perfect balance between the two.

        WHERE IS THE FABRIC MADE?

        The fabric is manufactured in Switzerland.

          ARE THEY WASHABLE?

          Yes, they should be washed with like colors and there is no need to iron or dry clean them. The Hydrophobic Nanotechnology is not affected by any form of washing and will not deteriorate. However, we recommend staying away from harsh detergents as it will deteriorate any clothing over long periods of time.

            WHAT MADE YOU IMPLEMENT THIS FABRIC WITH SWIMWEAR?

            We were tired of having to change shorts every time you leave the beach, having car seats soaked and not being able to go from the beach to a restaurant. We decided to look at different topical applications for use but shortly found out they changed the texture of the fabric and had no way of being used on garments. We decided to scrap the idea and look for the perfect alternative. We found the leading textile manufacturer who specializes in high-performance nanotechnology fabrics operating out of Switzerland and focused extensively on creating the most visually appealing and scientifically advanced pair of swim shorts in the world.
